FUEL LIVE

It wouldn't be right for me to close this evening without reporting on our Fuel practice.

We started the evening with a Chinese food fest. More of a stuffing of the bellies! I think the MSG got to us because we had a lot of fun at practice. We actually did the entire line-up of songs, while working through some bugs.

We have been listening to our practice cds with a fine toothed comb. In case you wondered, no...I don't enjoy listening to myself sing. It has really helped us hear what everyone else is doing and whether or not we are fitting into the grand mix. This led us to toss a song and add another to the list.

We ideally don't want to have to go into the studio when the evening is finished but we have the option if something isn't right.

The question, do we jump on stage and risk losing our breath so as not be able to sing? Or not? That is the question. I guess the crowd (we like to call them our choir) will have to provide the jumping energy for the evening!!! I don't think we'll be able to hold some of the crazy, wild and passionate worshipers back!

Can we actually have fun in church? Can it be true that I get to work with such amazing people each week? Is it for real that The Rock Church family is the coolest family in the world?

Pretty much absolutely!

Hi Pastor Mel,

I just wanted to let you know that last night was one of the best nights of worship I can remember in the 4 years I have been at The Rock. I was at the last recording and it was also awesome but last night topped them all!!
I feel so blessed to be able to love each and every moment of worship in my church and think that the team is INCREDIBLE! It is obvious that all of you are not just singing but truefully pouring out praise to God. It is a blessing to watch and hear. I can't wait to hear this CD. How long do we have to wait??? I am so excited!

Blessings to you and yours!

Heidi
