Let's begin with Sunday and backtrack through the weekend:
Sunday's service was inspiring and powerful. I am amazed at the incredible volunteers we have at The Rock.
I thought Jeff's testimonial video on "What the church has done for me and what I have done for the church" was very moving. I have heard the stories before and was even there for most of them. Even still, I am humbled to remember where God has brought us from and even more humbled to think about where God is taking us to.
After services were over, I got a coffee at RC Coffee and it was especially good. I know they are trying out different blends new fun flavors. I loved it! Thanks for your passion for excellence and to ride outside of the box.
TVM was a great time. Young adults were laughing (which is a usual occurrence with Pastor Travis speaking), praying and worshiping God. That is a combination for world-change!
Rain threatened to cancel the race on Saturday but to no avail! The superstocks were exciting, to say the very least. I used to like to see the wrecks but as a wife and friend of drivers..."rubbing's not racing!" It got a bit hairy. Jeff avoided three accidents and got punted off the track by a driver. Praise God, he and his car were unscathed by the end of the evening.
Everything lives and dies by prayer in my life and at The Rock. We know that grace comes by prayer. Thank you to all who came out to Saturday evening prayer. During this season, our leaders, elders and staff really covet your prayers.
It seems as though when there is great vision and souls to be saved on the horizon, Jeff and I have a greater need for prayer. The devil does not like what God is doing. Please pray for us as we lead. Pray for grace and wisdom. No matter how mad the devil gets, know this...we have a huge team of prayerful people and a God Who is above all, in all and will carry out His plans. This is an exciting time. We anticipate such a wonderful and fruitful spring and summer. Not to mention the momentum going into the fall.
The RC Creative Worship Team had great practices on Saturday and tonight. It has been a tremendous time of intense worship. We are so excited to join our worship with all of yours at FUEL.
