SHOUT OUT

This is a shout out to the truckers and long haulers of our nation. These men and women drive mile after mile on very little sleep to deliver our produce and goods from point A to point B so we can make a quick run to the neighborhood store to pick up ice cream and whatever else we need.

They do all this while on nourishment from... A TRUCK. STOP!

Our rig won't fit into anything b ut a truck stop so I am sitting here knawing on some beef jerkey (the only thing I can stomach from the Flying J) dreaming of Daniel's Broiler. I praise God for the cherry coke zero and izze's I brought from home and TX. .

Jeff and I are in the middle of Nevada, driving on a two-lane highway with no street lights and lots of stars. Beautiful country.

So glad to be closer to home.

Truck stops are amazing places. There is so much activity and so many colorful characters. I agree, the food isn't the greatest and the bathrooms aren't the cleanest. It just makes you miss home that much more! Are you two barn sour yet? Can't wait to see you both again.
