I was watching a show on health the other day and a report came on about stress. The researcher was saying when stress increases, it causes cells to shrink. With enough stress, cells shrink so small that it is impossible for them to reproduce. This is where signs of aging come from.
Since my studies at Central Washington University on physiology, exercise and such, I remain fascinated with these types of studies. Among such benefits as reducing body fat, decreasing cardiovascular heart disease, blood pressure and cholesterol, exercise releases stress; therefore, combating aging. Check out this article.
