OLDIES BUT GOODIES

I love to eat at nostalgic places. Dick's Drive-In in Seattle, Burger Master in Bellevue or how about Kid Valley?

I remember having my birthday at Ferrel's. That was an event! Of course, there is Chuck E. Cheeses and Vips. I grew up in Bothell and a friend of mine's family still owns the Ranch Drive-In. I used to get a corn dog, cherry drink (don't offer them any longer) and a dipped cone. MMmmm! Thanks for the memories, Roslyn.

My dad took me for coffee and a hot butterhorn every morning at Alexander's Coffee Shop in Bothell. He always offered me coffee but I opted for hot chocolate, at least in my early years. Those are still the best butterhorns I've tasted.

Okay, one more...when both of my parents were going to church (that's a story in and of itself), we went out for donuts at a little bakery in downtown Bothell. My brother and I could down the apple fritters even though they were as large as our heads!

Do you have any favs that are still around? Maybe a memory?
