Quarry, School of Creative Ministry Graduation

Tonight was our Quarry Graduation. I want to thank those of you who came to the ceremony to honor our interns. They have ministered to our kids and our young adults, help serve food to those in need, cleaned, ran our video and cameras, opened and locked up the building, set up for events, prayed and fasted and so much more! They deserved our "thanks" tonight.

Thank you to the Quarry Board of Directors: Pastor Rory, Pastor Ron and Shaun along with the staff who helped me throughout this entire year. You exceeded my expectations for a great year. Thank you to the instructors who cared, instructed, studied and cracked the whip! Of course, thanks to our elders who continued to cover the program in prayer.

I look forward to our new first, second and third year students entering the program come September. I heard there will be some race team participation, too. Lookout world because you are fixin' to see the world from a different angle...upside down!

If you are interested in hosting an intern next year, please e-mail info@trclife.com

THE INTERNS ARE HEADING TO DC

I just downloaded to our interns the destination of their next road trip. They are tripping it to Washington DC!

While in DC, they will be working with the National Prayer Center. The will also be attending The City Church DC (the church The Rock Church helped plant) as well as go on a presidential tour, visit the Senator's office and other sights.

National Prayer Center's Mission is to help activate, mobilize, and inspire the Christians across America to pray and become actively involved in the Biblical mandate of praying for our leaders and for revival, in order to heal our land.

National Prayer Center staff will take the interns on special prayer tours, offer current and historical information and facilitate corporate prayer times with Congress members and other prayer leaders. At times, The Center is visited by members of Congress and their staffs for times of prayer, devotion and spiritual encouragement.

Wow, what a trip! I have been to DC four times and each time am captivated by the "majesticness" (is that a word?) of the city. It is amazing to see the heritage and trust in God of those who have gone before us.

Please be in prayer for safety, fun, divine appointments, and their leader.
Pray for the ministries they are involved in...production, Lifesavers, TVM, admin and RC Creative Worship as they will be missing several great leaders while they are gone.

THE QUARRY, SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS

Applications were just released for The Quarry, School of Creative Arts (internship) program. This year was the first year we implemented our second (apprentice) year and third (leader) year program.

Each year will contain mission and adventure trips as well as team building elements, classes and ministry development. They get one-on-one time with the staff, pastors and elders of The Rock Church. At times, we have guests minister at The Rock. When this occurs, they most assuredly would love to speak to the interns.

If you are interested or know of any young person who would is breathing, has a pulse and wants to uncover God's purpose for their life and be thrust into greatness, contact the office at 360-805-0699 or info@therockchurch.info

It'll be the time of their lives!
