Wow! I head the Alderwood Malls's Rockin' Shoppin' Eve was packed with shoppers, hungry for great deals. Here's a picture from one attendee.
My friend went to the Seattle Premium Outlets midnight shopping experience and said every parking spot, including the casino was full. She didn't even go in.
Did you go? What was it like?

No way Jose!! I didn't go but had to comment that I cannot make myself go shopping on the craziest day of the year!! Bless those people who do get out in it. That many people in one spot gets me irritable, and just doesn't even seem fun! I will shop online today -- fewer crowds, good company, and can do in my pjs! hee
I have only attepted to this kind of shopping one time. I wanted to go to Walmart. Jordyn was only 2 months old, and I had here with me. When I got there, I couldn't find a parking spot, noticed how long the line was to get in, and then it started to rain. I turned around and went back home. I haven't attempted it since. I will watch the sales from now until a few days before Christmas. I am with Michelle! I did do some online shopping today and found some great deals all in the comfort of my home.
We made our annual Mid-night trip to WalMart, but waited until Friday night. Not as crowded this year. Usually we make it closer to Christmas
I did go! It was insane to say the least. We paid for valet parking (beautiful thing) and managed to work our way inside the doors amongst the crowds of people. Once inside, it was still shoulder to shoulder and I had to practice breathing exercises to prevent a panic attack caused by claustrophobia! You could seriously hardly walk, it was like gridlock in the mall. Somehow we made it to Starbucks by Sears (thinking it would be less busy...not so much) and Andrew got a coffee. We then decided it wasn't worth it to shop since there really were not any sales. We found an emergency exit and got out of there empty handed. Well...except for a coffee. I went back at 5am and hit the department stores. Now THAT was worth it. Lesson learned.
