We are driving through Ellensburg, on our way to an appointment in the Tri-Cities area. When looking in the Ellensburg, one is sure to find several eagles soaring and almost playing in the wind thermals.
I think of my life with Christ every time I see these Eagles.
Isaiah 40:31, "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
This reminds me that no matter the situation, when I trust in God, I will always find strength, peace and the "thermal" to not only begin but take me all the way to my destination. Whether that destination is an answer, a finish line, the other side of a difficult conversation or a success, God always has the end AND the journey in mind for me. I take my matters to God in prayer and leave them in His care. Sure, I am diligent to plan things out but I don't worry about them or try to make something happen by my own strength.
The same can be true for you.
Have you given your matters to the Lord today? If not, talk to Him now and take off in the "thermal.". If so...happy "thermalling!"
