WORLD TRADE CENTER

I remember when I was here almost two years ago when the memorials were still up along with the stand-alone beams that had fallen in the shape of the cross. There was a parking garage eight floors down the workers hadn't cleared the rubble from yet.

Although further into the building process, it was still a very moving experience. No laughs and not a lot of talking. There is repair and building going on on the surrounding buildings.

In its place, New York is going to build the Freedom Tower with a large memorial including a park and fountain. (I almost didn't post this because I know my description cannot do it justice.)
