MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT CLASSES PART II

I gave myself an hour and twenty minutes to get to my class, last night. I got there with two minutes to spare! If we are there one minute late, we forfeit the class. I was just not used to the traffic. I praise God often that I don't have to drive into Seattle each day for work. My punctual-self was almost in "freak-out" mode. I was able to keep my cool.

My instructor, Gracien is a great teacher. I believe he is from Jamaica. Last night and tomorrow is all classroom instruction. This weekend, we will get 15 hours of riding experience. I am so excited for that!

We started by going around the room introducing ourselves to our neighbor. Of course I was there for safety reasons and to learn but I told the class I was there to have fun (because everyone was so serious!). Okay, the instructor caught me off guard when we had to introduce our neighbor. Oh man..what was his name? I blurted out, "Steve" and was right. Phew.

I did my homework last night (read the book and answered the questions) and we take the written tomorrow evening.

Today, on my way to Portland, I stopped off and purchased boots, gloves and a helmet. Oh, and I ordered a girlie jacket. Thanks, Krystal and Uncle Jim for helping me pick the boots, gloves and helmet! Thank you, honey for the gear!

Gotta run...I'm in Portland attending an Intern Summit ad City Bible Church. I'll write more tonight.
