SUNDAY'S SONG

We had incredible services this weekend! It was an honor to witness 91 baptisms (between Sat and Sun), several salvations (some in the baptism tub!), communion and flat out LIFE transformation at The Rock Church.

Pastor Jeff's message was on "Door Two: the door of fulfillment." A powerful message that if we love God, we will obey His commands. Two of those are water baptism and communion. This weekend, we did just that. I was inspired by the obedience displayed. Some were saved for 17 years, some saved last week at Easter and some in the tub! All were baptized.

I met a new friend today, Noland. He and his wife, Dixie have a son Daniel who is in our Jr. High ministry. The Jr. High service received the same message as the adults. Noland was called out at the end of service to an appointment when he received a call from Dixie saying, "Daniel is getting baptized, you gotta see this!" Noland whipped his truck around and headed back in time to see his son baptized. That is so cool!

I can't wait to participate in week three of Friction, "Door Three."

Pastor Jeff has an incredible post on Sunday. Check it out!
