IS YOUR FIELD READY FOR RAIN?

I love the sunshine. We had a "teaser" the other day of 76 degrees. Since then, it's been unseasonably chilly. As much as I love the sunshine, I know rain is important. All my tulips and bulbs need water to help them grow.

I was listening to a movie on the way home (the movie doesn't play when the car is in drive) and heard a line that touched me. The movie was "Facing the Giants." Have you seen it? Fantastic! It does not have the best acting (in my perspective) but was a great message.

"There were two farmers waiting for rain. One farmer prepared his field and the other did not. Which one do you think the Lord blessed with rain? Right, the one who prepared for rain."

Even if you don't see a rain cloud in sight, God is still prepared to send the rain. Rain that is needed to bring about a harvest. God wants to bless you with rain.

Is your field ready?

2 Timothy 2:6, "The hardworking farmer must first partake of the crops."
