It's gearing up! This weekend is going to be a fantastic time. Please pray for our production crews including the creative team, RC Creative Worship Team, Audio, Video, Lighting and Graphics. These teams have been making really cool stuff. Even when we aren't in church, ideas and concepts are rolling around in their heads. Pray that they are refreshed and inspired with God-sized ideas for increased impact. A stage change is underway for Easter and this Sunday will have a great creative setting.
From Mitosis and Easter to the two series' we have forthcoming, God is in them all! He is moving in this region and the devil doesn't like it. Pray for Pastor Jeff, myself. Pray for strength, protection, wisdom and great grace. Pray that God's word have free course and be glorified (2 Thess 3:1).
Pray for our leaders and members that they be strengthened and filled with boldness to lead. Pray for God's grace for them.
I was speaking with a friend at The Rock today and she told me she had been up all night praying for us and prayer at The Rock. She prayed that people would indeed pray. All throughout God's word, people are talking to God and hearing from God. Jesus admonished His disciples to pray and was a tremendous example of someone who prayed. James 4:2 reminds us that "we have not because we ask not." Talk to God right now. Ask Him for big things. Ask Him to move on your behalf and on behalf of your church. Pray for your neighbors, co-workers and family that truth would be revealed to them and they would receive it. Pray for your children. Pray for your spouse. Thank God for all His blessings in your life. Thank Him that you are breathing and able to pray. Remind Him of His word. Remind Him that "All the promises of God in Him are yes and in Him amen." (2 Corinthians 1:20)
Each day I am amazed because I am a part of something so much bigger than myself. Prayer connects me and keeps my focus on others and God.
