I feel like I have been on the other side of the moon, out of the realm of technology. We took a couple days of our mission trip and headed to Tepic. It was a four and a half hour drive, each way. No laptop or blogging there. We had to dump buckets of water in the toilets to flush them (Praise God we had toilets!).
Upon arrival, I met with the pastors of the church who told me I was scheduled to preach in 15 minutes. I was quickly reminded of the scripture which tells us to be "ready in season and out of season!" Needless to say, that 15 minutes included getting my make-up on (there wasn't much of that this night). I opened the message with the song, "Hallelujah" because I needed to get some praise on. I also wanted the atmosphere to settle a bit. God consumed us and filled that place with His glory.
The next morning, Kathy delivered a fantastic word on John 10:10 to their ladies bible study. Way to go, Kathy! The interns did a couple of dramas and rocked the house.
The church we were at was experiencing some leadership issues so we headed to Puerto Vallarta a bit earlier than expected. The trip to Tepic went awesome and I praise God for the miracles He did while there! Thank you for your prayers.
