BEHIND THE SCENES OF MITOSIS

We blasted off last night to an incredible move of God! The ground-swell of excitement was overwhelming. From appetizers, happy parking lot crews to the intense time of worship and life-transforming word, expectations were exceeded. That is just how God is.

I want to give a shout out to the volunteers serving this weekend. You are over-the-top! I heard a report of a couple walking in the house and being "sucked in by the love" and more from others who were amazed at how it "felt like home." A man from Yakima told me he loved the fact that people came up to him and asked how he was and honestly cared about his day. This is the heartbeat of The Rock Church...YOU...touching people...connecting them to Life.

Behind the stage and during sound check, there was an excitement like Christmas Eve. The worship team and production team worked together so beautifully. During sound check, we could see the ushers moving around, prepping and praying. Wow, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Thank you both first and second year interns for your servant's heart and attitude. Richie, love the hair!

Here's a shout out to the staff who worked endless hours for this weekend. All week, there has been a silent buzz in the place. People doing their thing. Every detail was taken on with a passion, a heart for excellence and to achieve the overall vision. When the doors opened, your heart for people screamed!

Pastor Jeff and I were honored to have pastors from Everett, Yakima, Alaska, Monroe and other cities (forgive me as I don't have the list in front of me). I won't mention names as I don't want to forget anyone. I pray you are blessed and your communities open up to you! It is an honor to run this race with you.

Thank you! Let's go take this region for God!
