Snow!? You have snow? Unbelievable! Today was much warmer than yesterday in PV.
Last night. we attended the service at Perdon Y Amistad. It was a great time. The church has translation receivers which enabled us to understand the message.
Some of the team went to the School of Champions to help the children today. The kids LOVE us! It was exciting to see the impact we made on the children yesterday.
Kathy and I took the rest o the team into town. Armed with a list of needs, we went nuts in Sam's Club and Walmart. We purchased three printers, school supplies and prizes for 100 students, all the teachers, stocked each classroom and the 9 daycares with supplies. In addition, we purchased soccer balls, two sets of goal nets, basketballs, volleyballs and footballs. Thank you to all of you who generously give. You are blessed to be a blessing! There are some people who may never step foot on the mission field. Some are just not called to and some don't want to. Rest assured that though you are not physically here with us, we are being the conduit of your blessing.
Tomorrow, we will pass out the supplies to the students so I'll post some pics.
Tonight, we braved the city bus to the Hard Rock Cafe where I had the best chocolate milk shake.
